The Simpsons x adidas Superstar Squishee is a further addition to adidas’ recently popularised Springfield-based endeavours, this time seeing the iconic adidas Superstar silhouette reimagined as if by Matt Groening himself. Inspired by the famed fictional Squishee a beverage sold at Apu Nahasapeemapetilon's convenience store ‘The Kwik-E-Mart’, this most unique of muses is reflected in the shoe's colour scheme that boasts a mostly neon green composition with purple, fuchsia pink and orange accents consistent with the cartoon fizzy drink. The midsole is made from an icy green rubber, rounded off with the legendary beverage forefront in the form of a lace dubrae. Simpsons fan or not, these shoes make one hell of a statement, and will definitely get a lot of sneakerheads excited for months to come.
