CLOT INTRODUCES THE TEA-INSPIRED NIKE AIR MAX 1 “K.O.D.” - CHA!

CLOT’s FW21 ‘DYNASTY’ presentation 

CLOT x Nike Air 1 KOD reimagined in a brand new “CHA” colour scheme. Which was inspired by one of the seven essentials of Chinese Life - drinking tea. The shoe features a new fresh brown panelled upper celebrating the arts of drinking tea. 

Was originally one of the prototypes colour-ways for the 2006 CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death”. CHA colours is also a homage to a fundamental piece of CLOT history.

“CHA” means tea in Chinese. 

The design of the shoe remains the same as the original release in 2006, with deconstructed style and a mixture of materials; Suede, leather and ostrich. 

The shoe features a Rocky Tan upper mixed with sport red on the swoosh tick, CLOT-branding on the heel and detail on the laces and eyelets. A central brown is used on the midsole and upper panel. Finishing off is the shoe with a translucent outsole with Chinese pressure point graphics.

To be shown in Shanghai starting March 27, 2021. The following week it will be released in Juice locations all around China.
