Dave’s Quality Meat x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Bacon’ 2021
Dave Ortiz has an extraordinary mind and always been the one to think differently. The native New Yorker and graffiti writer opened up Dave’s Quality Meat in 2003, his butcher shop-inspired concept store was meant to slice through the competition associated with sneakers at the time.
“I figured if we’re going to be on our feet all day, we might as well have a comfortable shoe,” Dave noted. “So for me, the Air Max 90 was perfect.”
Leather bases are detailed to a vibrant white, and come extended over by red suede overlays, light-pink Swooshes and laces as well as brown molds attached to the throat and heels to best translate the breakfast meal staple. From there, a light grey hue smears covers all over the suede mudguards, while tan varnish the sock liners.
You can check out an early look at the pair of shoe, and note that Nike will likely to be confirming its release date in the next coming weeks.
